Let's face it: Nobody likes going to the hospital. Except, of course, for our hospitalists. The HOWM team thrives in the hospital environment. Which means that you get the best care from the physicians who know best how to enhance your hospital stay.

Since your primary care physician spends most of the day in the office, he or she cannot always be at your hospital bedside when emergencies or concerns arise. That's where we come in: When you are admitted to the hospital, your physician may ask an HOWM hospitalist or physician assistant to see you initially. HOWM will then consult with your physician, help initiate a plan for your care and continue to provide care until your doctor is able to see you. Upon your physician's request, HOWM will even manage your care throughout your hospital stay. During this time, we will communicate with your doctor, chart your progress and arrange your follow-up appointment prior to your discharge from the hospital.
